About the event
A Unique Shakespeare Retreat exploring four of Shakespeare's history plays: Richard II, Henry IV pts 1 and 2, and Henry V.
Arrive on Tuesday 6th October 2026 for our evening welcome dinner and stay in one of our spacious ensuite rooms through to check-out on Saturday 10th October. During your stay you will have the opportunity to observe or participate in:
Guided readings of all four plays, in sequence, with extended discussion
Creative response opportunities
A candlelit presentation on the effects of candlelight on Shakespeare's plays
A showing and discussion of one film or TV adaptation of one of the plays
