About the event
Your place on our September 2026 weekend reading retreat gives you a peaceful, relaxing place to read either the book of your choice or our recommended pick. Either way, you can enjoy the opportunity to engage with other readers, keep yourself to yourself, or a little bit of both!
In addition to reading, we will provide you with other optional activities including a movie night on the Saturday evening and a guided walk on Sunday afternoon.
The retreat runs from Friday to Monday (3 nights) with a 2-night option for those who have to get back to work at the start of the new week. Whichever option you choose, your accommodation will be in one of our spacious, ensuite bedrooms with TV, WiFi, Tea and Coffee making facilities, and toiletries. Accompanying Dog
A place for your furry friend on the retreat, sharing your room. The fee covers extra cleaning and other costs. A maximum of two dogs are allowed on each retreat. Dogs are usually not allowed in the dining room but are allowed in all other areas. Contact us if you need more information.
